ACRES is an Institution of Public Character and local charity founded by Singaporeans in 2001. Our sole aim is to advocate for an end to animal cruelty in Asia. We tackle wildlife crime in Singapore via our ACRES Crime Investigation Unit. We operate a 24-hour wildlife rescue service, which has rescued and relocated more than 10,000 injured or displaced animals to date. We have also conducted over 2,700 outreach programmes in the past 15 years through our community outreach team, inclusive of humane education at academic institutions and spreading awareness through roadshows. This averages to a reach of over 105,000 children and adults every year. We seek to nurture a responsible society where animals are treated with compassion and respect.
